We had the sonogram this morning and they had a hard time getting a good shot. Every time the lady would find the "parts", the baby would move around. This is a very active child! But finally she got one, and announced it is a girl!
We are very excited at this point. Selah is too! At first I wasn't really sure she understood what was going on, but when we got home I was looking at the sono pics. She asked to have one, so I picked one and told her she could keep it wherever she wanted. She replied after looking at it, "Oh, my baby sister. I'm so excited, Mommy!"
It brought tears to my eyes to hear her say that. I want more than anything for Selah to feel involved in this process and not be left out.
After having time to think about it all, I think it's better for Selah to have a little sister first. She is going to love teaching her all the girly things she loves.
We haven't decided on a name yet, so stay tuned for a post on that.
Here is a pic of the baby from the side. She had her hands by her face the entire time (her Daddy says that's because she's gonna be a boxer)....
